Mary Beth is the parent of Meghan, an outgoing six-year old with Auditory Neuropathy. She is also the Family Service Coordinator at DePaul School for Hearing and Speech, an auditory-oral school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Meghan is a student. Mary Beth enjoys her role at DePaul and as President of the Pennsylvania chapter because it gives her the opportunity to work with parents, professionals and deaf and hard of hearing adults on a regular basis. As a founding member of the new chapter in the Keystone State, Mary Beth hopes that someday all children in Pennsylvania (and throughout the United States) diagnosed with some type of hearing loss will have access to the same technology, resources and communication options regardless of their zip code. She resides in Beaver, Pennsylvania with husband Tim, the aforementioned Meghan, and a crazy beagle named Quincy. |
